About

Olivia, ”Liv” received her master’s in mental health counseling from Immaculata University. Liv has experience working with young adults, adults, couples, and families dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Liv started her internship with Ethos in January of 2020 and moved on to facilitate the family program under Patrick Dowling. She has spoken on panels for “Be a Part of the Conversation” pertaining to LGBTQIA+ and substance abuse. She also utilizes psycho-education, motivational interviewing, experiential, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, as well as psychodynamic theory to tailor each client’s treatment plan to the complexities they are facing on a daily basis.

Liv enjoys working with families and couples struggling with substance abuse issues wherever they are in their process, to increase motivation, communication, and boundary setting necessary for a healthy family system. She has been described as compassionate, empathetic, and supportive by her clients.
