Ken is a seasoned licensed clinical social worker with over twenty-five years of direct clinical care. Ken’s disarming nature and his emphasis on providing a safe therapeutic environment lead his clinical practice. Complex topics, such as sexual identity require that safe space that Ken provides. Ken’s most recent emphasis of his clinical practice has been focusing on the strain of elder care, complex illness and caring for the caregivers; inclusive with grief, bereavement work, and importance of self-care. Cognitive behavioral techniques to develop insight, healthier coping mechanisms, and learning self-reflection skills in change process center Ken’s practice. In addition, Ken has a great appreciation for mind-body awareness and it’s effect for creating wellness.
