Karen M. Levin MSS, LCSW is an independent practitioner and is excited to now operate her practice out of Therapeutic Alliance. Karen is a licensed clinical social worker who has been a part of the Philadelphia area treatment community for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College where she received her Masters of Social Service degree in 1997. Since then, she has maintained a private practice in West Chester for the last 18 years. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at West Chester University as well as providing consulting services for a local residential program specializing in the treatment of addiction and complex trauma issues. She brings a strong interpersonal and client-centered approach to her work with individuals, groups, families, and organizations. She functions from an integrated model drawing on a variety of treatment modalities depending on the needs of the client or system.
